Abstract

Dental instruments are essential to the delivery of services to the patients. These instruments are bought with foreign currency which are very scarce and the cost of which may in no mean way affect the prices of dental services. There are greater chances of locally fabrication of majority of these instruments. The onus is on the dentist practicing in low-income countries to develop locally effective and efficient options for their tools in order to function optimally.
